The benefits of a Gold Pass also includes free parking which is $20 per trip, and bringing a friend ticket discount prices for up to 6 people at $39.99 each Friday through Sunday and $34.99 Monday through Thursday. The Bring-A-Friend ticket price will also be dropped to $19.99 or $29.99 depending on the time of the year. It’s best deal for anyone who doesn’t need access to all Cedar Fair Parks. Do kids have to buy tickets at Carowinds?
If you have a Pre-K child who is less than 5 years old, you can apply for a free pass for the child. Just register online and then bring a birth certificate to Guest Services on your first visit with the child and they will give you a Pre-K Pass card to use. With season and Pre-K passes, you can go in and out of the park as you please. One thing to keep in mind is that Pre-K passes doesn’t include Scarowinds admission, but includes unlimited visits to The Great Pumpkin Fest, Grand Carnivale, and WinterFest events.
How do I pay Carowinds? Is it Cash Only?
Carowinds is completely cashless. You can pay by credit or debit card. You can also buy season or daily meal and drink plans online ahead of time. Be sure to download the Carowinds app where you can store the plans. You should also put your season pass and tickets into the app for easy access when you arrive at the gate. No need to carry tickets or pass card around. Getting your passes and tickets scanned on your phone is much easier. As a season pass holder, you’ll also receive FREE parking. Just have your season pass scanned at the parking lot gate.
