Since Toys R Us and KB Toys filed for bankruptcy and no longer have any standalone brick and mortar stores in the US, there are limited options when it comes to toy stores for kids, and adults alike. Collectibles have risen for mainly adults and you can find them in your local Walmart, Target, Best Buy, FYE and some niche mall video game stores. The kids toy sections in major retail outlets have also expanded to meet demands. But what if you want everything under one roof for you and your little kids and walk through a store just for toys?
Alex Baby & Toy to the rescue! It’s actually owned by the same company that owns FYE. Its a giant mall type store that is as big as an old Toys R Us and features aisles and aisles of toys and stuff for kids, including LEGOs, action figures from your favorite Star Wars, Marvel, DC, TMNT and Jurassic Park brands, Funko Pops, Hot Wheels, Mini Brands, stuffed animals and much much more. Unfortunately, there is only 4 locations in all of US. Hopefully more will open in the future.

If you do see Toys R Us, it’s because it was bought out and has some locations inside Macy’s around the country but it’s not even close to the same store we all remember and love.
