Polk Audio’s OWM3 speakers can be your perfect ATMOS speakers. It’s light, easy to wall mount, and produces fantastic sound. With a normal speaker you’d have difficulty finding a good spot for a surround, and especially ATMOS setup, depending on your room configuration. With the OWM3, you can place it lengthwise, width wise, or even along a corner without a problem. There’s 7 different ways it can be placed. You’re guaranteed to at least find one that best fits your current setup. These speakers are great for ATMOS setup if you don’t want to have ceiling speakers. You can hang them near the ceiling but still have it point downward towards the listening area.
Using it as surrounds, movie sound effects are enveloping and engaging, providing a sound that is detailed and nuanced. For music in multi-channel stereo mode, it adds extra volume and depth. Overall, Polk OWM3 is a very capable multi-application speakers set and is best used as surrounds or ATMOS speakers.
