In addition to being electric, it also comes with pedals, which Jetson calls pedal assist, so that you can ride it as a normal bike if you chose to save battery or when you run out of battery. The bike weighs about 43 lbs and the 36V 6.0 Lithium-ion battery is not removable, which means it feels heavier than its small size. You can ride up to 30 miles with the electric motor and pedal assist, but we’re not sure how Jetson calculated that mileage and how much you have to pedal.
The only portion of the bike that folds is the handlebar post. In order to make this Ebike as compact as possible for storage or transport, you can also remove the saddle, seat post, and the pedals. I would not want to carry this by hand as it’s quite heavy as mentioned before.
Prices at MSRP of $599, Bolt Pro electric bike also comes with a small analog bell, headlights and cruise control feature. One thing you can’t do is control the speed of the electric motor. It’s single speed bike that can go up to 15.5 mph.
This E-bike has dual disk brakes for both the front as well as the back wheel. They are quite sensitive which is not a bad thing. The premium brakes system will definitely ensure that you have a safe riding time.
As for accessories, you can also get a back-of-bike cargo basket with 11-pound carrying capacity and a front hanging basket, giving you extra storage space to carry all of your belongings .
