We are sad to write to you that as of this week we've lost Canadian actor Dale Wilson, yet another soul whose performance in the Unicron Trilogy made an impact for many of us. He played Smokescreen in Armada and Mudflap in Cybertron as well as Overkill in G.I Joe: A Real American Hero and Cell in Dragon Ball Z (among a multitude of other voice roles). Via Takara Tomy Mall and Dengeki Hobby, we can now report the official reveal for MPG-15 Masterpiece Rattle/Rattrap, which we had first seen last week. The included gallery shows off the figure in his robot and rat modes along with his accessories plus some comparisons with the other Masterpiece beasties. As can be seen in these pics he is looking extremely accurate to the cartoon as you’d expect. He has a price of 16500 Yen (about $104.36 USD). Diamond Comics Distributors have filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. All of their properties, including Diamond Select Toys, Gentle Giant, AFA are now up for sale. Some UK assets already have a bid courtesy of Universal Distribution. Where that leaves Diamond Select Toys which currently has a Transformers license, AFA which grades vintage toys and a lot of collectors use, and the general distribution network that many comic shops use to access Hasbro toys wholesale and comics including Skybound’s Energon Universe – is unknown at the moment.
