There are numerous music streaming services that offer lossless FLAC quality songs to enjoy. They include Amazon Music HD, Deezer, Qobuz and Tidal. Both Amazon Music HD and Tidal have comparable pricing. If you already have Alexa supported devices, then go with Amazon Music HD. But if you prefer a better app user interface and have Hifi audio equipment or use a network AV receiver to listen to music, like Yamaha MusicCast receivers, then Tidal is the better option. Check out Tidal Connect for HiFi audio equipment options.
One thing to keep in mind is that if you only care about preserving original music quality in lossless FLAC (CD quality) format, then choose Tidal HiFi instead of HiFi Plus. It’s confusing because although HiFi Plus offers higher bitrate and sample rate with Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) tracks, MQA is technically a lossy (compressed) format so the file size is less. When you subscribe to HiFi Plus, tracks that are offered in MQA format will be streamed using the MQA version. You don’t have a choice to select FLAC format. If you also want immersive music like 360 Reality Audio and Dolby Atmos, then HiFi Plus is your only option. See Tidal’s sound quality information page to learn more.
