The webcam is super simple to setup. All you have to do is plug it in. Your windows should automatically recognize the camera and you’re ready to go. Just open up Skype, Microsoft Teams or Zoom and you’re set. When the video is on, you should see a blue light lit up next to the camera lens. Your computer will also default to webcam’s microphone so you can also use it for audio only calls.
In our testing, we didn’t adjust any settings. But you could adjust the camera settings like brightness depending on your lighting in the video app that you’re using as the webcam doesn’t have an application to make the adjustments. The picture is good, not great, but definitely acceptable. Image is sharp without any blurriness. At around $50, this is a perfect home office or personal use camera for our ever changing connected world.
