Thanks to Marvel Studio’s success on the big screen, everyone pretty much knows who Marvel is and the superheroes in its universe. But there was a time in Marvel’s logo history where was known as Marvel Comics, which published some of the best comic book heroes on the planet, like X-Men, Captain America, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and Spider-man.
Go back even further, Marvel actually started out as Timely Comics in 1939, which later morphed into Atlas Comics before solidifying itself as Marvel Comics. The first Marvel Comics logo was unveiled in 1957’s rebranding effort. Since then, the logo did not change much as its characters had its own logos. It wasn’t until 2002, where the modern brand logo was slightly adjusted to feature just the font type Marvel. It became more harmonious and smoother.
