Stage Tour allows players to use a wide range of microphones for vocal tracks, so expensive official gear is not required.
Compatibility
Almost any standard USB microphone or headset mic works directly with Stage Tour across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch platforms. Legacy USB microphones from older games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band are fully compatible. Console controllers with built-in mics, such as the PlayStation DualSense, or 3.5mm headset jacks plugged into the controller also function for vocal tracking.
Using Traditional Mics & Adapters
To use a traditional XLR studio or performance microphone, a simple converter is required to turn the analog signal into digital USB input.

• XLR-to-USB Signal Adapter Cables: This is budget-friendly option, costing you around $15–$30. Cables with a female XLR end and a male USB-A/USB-C end plug directly into the console or PC.
• USB Audio Interfaces: For higher sound quality, plug an XLR mic into a compact interface audio mixer connected via USB.
• If you have a 1/4-inch jack plug microphone connection, you can also get an adaptor to convert it to 3.5mm input for about $6. Then getting 3.5mm to USB adaptor will only set you back about $5-$10.
As long as the console recognizes the input device as a standard USB audio source, Stage Tour will track pitch and timing seamlessly.
