New York Comic Con (NYCC) is the nation’s biggest and most exciting pop culture convention, held in New York City every year. It’s the largest pop culture convention in America by attendance and takes place in the comic book, publishing, media and licensing capital of the world – Gotham City. The show floor plays host to the latest and greatest in comics, graphic novels, anime and manga, toys, video games, movies, and television. The panel discussions and autograph sessions give comic fans a chance to interact with entertainment creators. You can bring a refillable water bottle. Bottled drinks and outside food are not allowed into the Javits Center.

The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, commonly known as the Javits Center, is a large convention center on Eleventh Avenue between 34th Street and 38th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, New York City. It opened in 1986.
History of New York Comic Con
The New York Comic Con or NYCC is an annual New York City comic fan convention dedicated to comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, cosplay, toys, movies, and television. It was first held in 2006. The first NYCC had an attendance of around 33,00. Notable guests included Kevin Smith, George RR Martin and Frank Miller. Since then, NYCC has grown to over 200,000 attendees per year.
