Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo C2E2 (Illinois)

The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, also known as C2E2, is a fan convention spanning the latest and greatest from the worlds of comics, movies, television, anime, manga, toys, and video games. Held for the first time on April 16–18, 2010 in Chicago’s McCormick Place, it has an estimated attendance of between 80,000 to 100,000 comic convention goers. You can meet your favorite comic book artists, creators and celebrities, while mingling with awesome Chicago area comic con fans.

How many people go to C2E2?
After debuting in 2010, C2E2 grew into one of the biggest Chicago conventions, drawing more than 100,000 people every year.

Do people dress up and cosplay for C2E2?
All costumes should provide enough coverage that’s appropriate for a family-friendly show. Gore, graphic violence or other objectionable elements may be grounds for disqualification as determined by the judges or C2E2 Team in their sole discretion.

Can I bring food and drinks to C2E2?
Outside drinks and food are not permitted but you can bring refillable water bottle and some snacks.
