Maybe you’ll see her at your next favorite US comic con or anime con event.

What first got you interested in cosplay?
I was five years old watching Xena and I took some old curtains and some tin foil and made myself a (very terrible) Xena Warrior Princess costume. I would run around in the yard pretending I was her.

How many comic/anime conventions do you attend a year?
Not as many as I used to due to work. I would say, maybe five.

If you could be any superhero, who would it be?
That’s a toughie. I’m not sure I would want to be one as that comes with entirely too much responsibility and superheroes tend to always have some kind of target on thier backs.

Why do you do what you do?
Because it’s an opportunity to embody beloved characters that you grew up watching or reading about. Getting together with friends and cosplaying together is fun as well.

Any advice you can give to fellow cosplayers?
Everyone has to start somewhere, trust the process, be safe, surround yourself with positive people in the community and just have a great time!
