RisuCon (Rockville, Maryland)

RisuCon is Montgomery County’s Comic Con; an anime and cosplay event for the whole family. Located in Maryland, RisuCon will be held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, a huge facility with tons of free parking and enormous fair buildings. Our vendor space is over 28,000 square feet alone! RisuCon will have vendors, anime screenings, cosplay contests, free themed group photo shoots, a game room with tournaments, a kids (of all ages) activity area, a cosplay maker space, panels, and weather permitting: an awful lot of outdoor fun. Why RisuCon? Risu means squirrel in Japanese. Japan is the source of so much of our fandom and inspiration, and… there are a LOT of squirrels in Maryland.
