Comic Con Okinawa (Japan)

MCCS Okinawa offers many events for service members and their families on island that are fun for all ages and one of the most popular of these events is Comic Con Okinawa. The festivities are spread throughout three locations on Camp Foster—the Foster Field House, Community Center Auditorium and the Ocean Breeze Club and Restaurant. Comic Con Okinawa will again be featuring many of the same offerings one would find at a U.S.-based Comic Con with a more family-friendly focus providing patrons and their children with gaming tournaments, costume contests, displays of collectible items, discussion panels and much more! One advantage Comic Con Okinawa enjoys is its location in Japan—the birthplace of manga and anime now famous throughout the world. Many of these local iconic characters are incorporated into the event.
